Often people are too busy fiddling with gadgets, so forget the time. However, if you do not understand how to treat the eyes, the gadget can make my eyes become sore. Based on the research Dr. Jeffrey Anshel, an average of gadget users are willing to spend long hours - even days - to interact with their gadgets, like mobile phones, kindle and Xbox.

According to the study, the average American youth directly interact with its gadgets, even when they just got up. Backlit LCD on the actual gadget itself is a potential 'harm' eyes. The reason is simple eye muscles become tired because of radiation backlit LCD. Here are tips from Dr. Anshel, to make a fresh eye, when we interact with the gadget.

1. 3 B's: Blink, Breathe, and Break.
When interacting with gadgets, blinking eyes should be 2-3 times the normal eye. This is to avoid dryness of the eye. Sempatkan also to rest when his eyes began to weary. Do not be forced.

2. The 20/20/20 Rule.
Every 20 minutes, look at objects as far as 20 feet, with 20 seconds eyes directed to different objects.

3. Consult your Doctor.

4. Adjust the room lighting conditions.
Make sure you are in a well lit room, or outside. Eye strain is often a function of lighting. Glare, and low light can really hurt your eyes, and when you are looking at a digital device the back-lighting of the device combined with the room's lighting could be very detrimental.

Nokia released a new beta version of the client for the Nokia Image Exchange by adding some new menu.
Add people to your People menu
Due to the amount of images that get published every day, it would be nice to be able to see public images from just certain people without the need to wade through the whole public image stream. As a result, now added the possibility to add people to your People menu. Simply click "Add to People" on a person's image and the images he/she publishes later on appear directly under his/her screen name in your People menu. This feature is available via both the mobile and web interfaces.

Set a screen name from your mobile
As only people who have set their screen name (a nickname that is visible to anybody) can be added to People menu, new clients also include a way to set your screen name from your mobile. This feature is found from the options menu under "Account Information" -> "Set screen name...".

Search through your images in grid layout (touch UI version)
The touch UI version also sees the return of a search grid so you can see an overview of your shots. The search view is accessible via the main menu as well as via the volume down key in image browsing mode.

Nokia Image Exchange is an experimental imaging service for Nokia mobile phones. It is meant to be as convenient and effortless as possible. Some of these options is the Dual Mode, UMTS mode, and GSM Mode. However if you wanna only GSM/UMTS options, just uncheck the Dual mode option.

Note:
Tested and working perfectly on N96 (FP2) as it has all three options. To make it more easy, have added two new files, if you find it difficult to disable Dual Mode option while installing it, simply choose the attached file with disabled Dual Mod and install it.

S60v5 Gdesk Design Collection

Gdesk is symbian application which is used to design the look of a phone. Two main functions is to beautify the look and ease of access each user's mobile phone features itself. This application is divided into 2 parts: plugin and display.
Plugins can be installed at any time that serves as an interface, for example: hour, agendas, info, shortcuts, and task manager. The display screen associated with the design. Gdesk represented by a file *.gdd. Gdesk is a good app that free but you will need to spend a bit of time working out how to use it.

Install guide :

You must have GDesk v0.33g installed, or new one Gdesk v0.35(4).
Download the *.gdd (this is the theme file), extract it to phone and run it.
If you are lucky it will all be fine however due to the complex theme most people will need to load the actual icons and graphics files onto the phones memory card (do this if you have missing parts or icons).
You must make a folder on your memory card called +GDesk and make following folders inside - names must be exact.

How to Add or Delete Phone Languages

You can deleted unneeded languages in your phone. So, those languages don't appear on any selection lists anymore. It didn't free up tons of memory (only a few MB), but a little is better than nothing. Adding languages on the other hand is very tricky and the easiest way to do it, is downloading a FW with your own language pack and delete the unwanted languages from there.

First problem is finding out which language has which number. The scandinavian language pack has the following: 01=English, 06=Swedish, 07=Danish, 08=Norwegian, 09=Finnish, 15=Icelandic. Others can be viewed here. Choose which languages to remove from your particular phone and make a list of their numbers. Do NOT include English (01), since it can't be removed.

Edit languages.txt in \resource\Bootdata\ . Remove the unneeded language numbers. Don't touch the contents in any other way. Do a search of your rofs folder. Search for files named *.Rnn where nn stands for a language number you want to get rid of.
(if you want to get rid of language '99', then search for *.R99) Delete all such files. Repeat the search for all unwanted language numbers.

Inside these folders, there are other folders named with numbers corresponding to each language. Delete those language folders you don't need.

Dig into \private\10207254\themes\ and find the homescreen files deep there within folders named '1.0'. The files usually end with *.o00nn. Again the two last digits stand for a language. Unneeded ones are usually safe to delete. Find files called T9*.dll in \sys\bin\ . Do not delete the files T9English.dll or T9rel.dll. Other languages can be deleted.

NDrive iPhone World Maps Navigation System

NDrive make iPhone into a powerful navigation system can navigate to any of the many points-of-interest like hotels, restaurants and petrol stations with turn-by-turn voice instructions and on-screen directions will guide you from your current position to the destination.

On the next screen choose "Web", and hit "OK" when the popup comes. To get a serial number, start the Windows key and click on "Get new". Enter the SN the key gives you into NDrive and press "OK". When you get the question "Do you want the registration to be automatic by an IP connection ?" choose "No". Leave the key open.
In NDrive, you will now get a screen with the "Serial Nr." (you just entered this), an "Auth. Nr" and a "MAP" Key. In this example I want to activate the

Benelux Map:
Serial nr: BDFC-4H7D-4320
Auth. nr: TZGB-66FG-T77G
Map: TA-EUR-BENELUX-*-2009.06

Now, go back to the Windows key and make sure the "Serial Number" is the same as you entered before. For "Device ID" choose the "Auth. nr" displayed in NDrive. For "Map" enter the full "Map" from NDrive (example from above: TA-EUR-BENELUX-*-2009.06)
as displayed in your iPhone. Next, press "Generate" in the key and some activation keys will be displayed.
Back in NDrive, click on "Ok" and "Ok" again at the popup. Now enter one of the activation keys that the Windows key displays into NDrive. Found that the second key always worked or you can experiment with the others if you like. However, do not enter the MAP name again, just the key displayed behind it.
That's it, the map is registered. You will need to do that with each map you would like to use.
