Using Nokia Messaging for Facebook & Twitter

This month, Nokia had to update its unique application, a development of his NokiaMessaging service. Application is called community, which Nokia itself calls the Nokia Messaging for Social Networks, which aims to bring us with all Social Networking accounts that never existed. Until this writing, this application is still in development. But Nokia still distributing the beta version for Nokia lovers like you can try out this service. Unfortunately, the beta version of this service is so limited, including phone support until the contents of the application.

Previous applications are provided only for mobile-phones Symbian S60 5th edition. Among them is the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, N97, N97 mini, 5530 XpresMusic and 5230. But the Nokia has updated the application so that it can be used for Nokia s40.

Update February 2010, S40 support, bug fixes to improve client performance, and minor feature enhancements:
* Facebook – Upload photos to selected album
* Facebook – Timestamp improvement
* Twitter – Direct message
* Twitter – Post with Location
* Twitter – View profile of people you are following and posted tweets
* Twitter – View own profile and posted tweets
* Twitter – Mark as Favorite

Using Nokia Messaging for Social Networks:
1. Download application Communities-beta (Symbian or Java s40)

2. Install and run, will display a page that shows there are three main icons. Two of them is a symbol of Facebook and Twitter, while one more form of a yellow box with a curved black shades. This is not a symbol of a new community site, if you click on the symbol will appear the words "Other communities are coming soon".

3. Turn on Facebook with your account. Looks similar to Facebook's application Symbian S60 5th edition and touch screen version of the Facebook site. But at the start, it's a long loading time when compared to separate Facebook application, which can make loading much faster.

4. Once satisfied exploring Facebook account, click Close. Will appear, Add an account to add a number of other accounts. Able from Twitter or Facebook account also the other.
